do not fear...

guess how many times the phrases "do not fear" and "do not be afraid" appear in the Bible...

the anwer to the original question is:

113!!! the bible uses the phrase "do not fear/be afraid" 113 times.

"be good" - 5 times
"have faith" - 8 times
"believe in God" - twice
"love God" - 5 times

i think it's a significant stat...

I thought it was more than 365 times; frankly more than 400 times. I do not remember where I heard it from. 365 times was from "Facing the Giant". The other number I heard when a pastor preached at my church, it was more than 400, but less than 500, I believe.
